Historic research revealed that in the 17th century the upper floor of the castle was one huge ballroom, where “weddings used to last whole week long under the supervision of the Daniels”. A Renaissance wedding is also depicted in one of the 17th century wall-paintings inside the castle.

Goulash is best done in a cauldron -try it out with plenty of mulled wine, and a large bonfire to raise the spirits even higher. For desert, aunt Sárika will prepare the most delicious Kürtöskalács (traditional Chimney cake) you’ll ever taste.
