Buffet Breakfast

Rediscover the long-forgotten taste of holidays spent at grandma with our locally-sourced breakfast. The rich buffet breakfast features a delicious selection of artisan cheese and traditional cold-cuts, home-made fruit jams and Zacusca, bio-eggs and fresh milk from local producers.

Light Traditional lunch

For lunch we propose some light picks of traditional Transylvanian dishes. Soup of the day is usually a delicious Romanian ciorba, or a Transylvanian noodle-soup, followed by a grilled dish or home-made pasta. Don’t miss the traditional pancakes filled with juicy home-made fruit jams.

Renaissance Feast

Historic research revealed that in the 17th century the upper floor of the castle was one huge ballroom, where “weddings used to last whole week long under the supervision of the Daniels”. A Renaissance wedding is also depicted in one of the 17th century wall-paintings inside the castle.
Step back in time and experience the bygone splendour of castle balls in our Renaissance feast, with live music and selected renaissance dishes.

Cauldron & bonfire dinner

Goulash is best done in a cauldron -try it out with plenty of mulled wine, and a large bonfire to raise the spirits even higher. For desert, aunt Sárika will prepare the most delicious Kürtöskalács (traditional Chimney cake) you’ll ever taste.
