Autumn at Daniel Castle is made for unhurried family days. Carve pumpkins together, follow clues through the castle grounds and gather around the bonfire as the evening air turns crisp.

Continue your journey into the past at the Museum of Baraolt, where the region's cultural and natural heritage reveals another side of Transylvania.

For families who would rather spend the day outdoors, the spectacular Vârghiș Gorge offers one of the area's most memorable hiking experiences, especially in autumn, when the surrounding forests turn beautiful shades of yellow, red and brown.

Time for the whole family to slow down

After a day of exploring, retreat together to the vaulted cellar of the Cellarium Spa. Warm water, gentle rituals and an atmosphere unlike any ordinary family spa make it a memorable experience for children and parents alike.

Spa access is included for the entire family. No spa fee is charged for children under 14.

At the restaurant, children can choose from a dedicated kids' menu, while parents discover Transylvanian flavours reimagined with a contemporary touch.

We are planning pumpkin carving, a treasure hunt and a bonfire evening.
