The Constantinople Room is one of the flagship rooms of the estate, offering a distinctive atmosphere where centuries of history meet refined contemporary comfort.
Carefully preserved 17th century wall paintings give the room a rare sense of authenticity, while the freestanding open bathtub invites slow moments of relaxation.
Tucked away in a quiet corner of the castle, the room offers added privacy and tranquility, complemented by a cozy library corner by the entrance, perfect for unwinding with a book or simply slowing down for a while.

The 17th century wall paintings discovered in the castle are of outstanding historic importance, portraying the key milestones in the political and social ascent of the Daniel family.
The painting that inspired the name of the room is depicting the paying of the tribute to the Ottoman Empire by the Principality of Transylvania.
In the background we see the towers of Constantinople, and in the front the ambassador (supposedly count Daniel) bowing before the sultan, beneath him the coffer filled with money-bags.
Being an ambassador to such important state affair was a great honor, so no surprise the Daniels had the event painted.
