Its thick stone walls, century-old oak beams and generous bathtub evoke the atmosphere of the first Daniel residence built here in the early 17th century. The spacious lobby with its comfortable couch invites slow mornings and quiet evenings, while the room's layout also makes it both pet-friendly and accessible for guests with reduced mobility. A stay that combines historic character with comfort and ease, in one of the castle's most grounded and authentic spaces.

The oldest part of the castle, this wing was referred to in historical documents as the "Lodging of Olasztelek".
The Székely noble Daniel family originates from Vârghiș, a village neighbouring Tălișoara, where another Daniel Castle still stands as the family's first residence.
In the early 17th century, after dividing the family estates with his brother, János Daniel I moved from Vârghiș to Tălișoara, establishing the Olasztelek branch of the family and beginning the construction of this noble residence.
